While there is a common narrative that the unprecedented precautions and restrictions that have been imposed under COVID-19 have been done so for the “common good” and to protect the elderly and most vulnerable, the lived reality for patients and their loved ones has often been quite different. Hear from three experts on what is really happening behind the scenes under COVID-19 with patients in health care facilities and nursing homes, and their ability to receive care, visitation, and spiritual assistance.
