I have gained invaluable experience in the field of science and research through this opportunity. I am able to work side by side with my professor, Dr. Sammut, and learn from his expertise in neuroscience and pharmacology. I have been challenged intellectually, and pushed to think and act like a scientist. What makes our work unique, and why I believe it will be successful, is that faith and reason are integrated into everything that we do in our lab. At the end of the day, our work is done to glorify God.
