Prospective students who are not already admitted to Franciscan University of Steubenville must apply for general admission to the University. This can be done by submitting the online application or by calling 1-800-783-6220 or 1-740-283-6226 and requesting a paper application. You will also be required to send an official copy of your high school and/or college transcript(s). Please indicate in your essay that you are applying for the Summer Ancient and Biblical Languages Institute.
All students (those already enrolled and first-time applicants) must also print out and complete the Institute’s separate Application Form and return it no later than May 1 (earlier if possible) to:

Please note: Being admitted to Franciscan University of Steubenville is not a guarantee that you will be admitted to the Summer Institute.
Applicants will be notified of admissions’ decisions by May 15.
To secure a place in the Institute’s classes, a deposit of $150 will be required by May 30. Checks should be made payable to Franciscan University and sent to the above address.
Your deposit will be credited against tuition but is otherwise non-refundable (but see “Cancellation Policy” below) if an applicant fails—for whatever reason—to attend the course.
Applications will be considered up to the beginning of the summer sessions, but no place can be guaranteed for applicants who fail to meet the deadline of May 1.
